Why Has My Weight Loss Slowed Down So Much?

by admin - February 26th, 2010. Filed under: Natural Weight Loss.

I was 146 pounds when I started, I lost 11 pounds the first month of dieting and working out 5-6 times a week for 2 hours. Its the second month a I gain 1 or 2 pounds. I know it might be muscle and I know the first 11 was probably my water weight, but is there a way I can speed the weight-loss up again? My calorie intake is 1200-1300 and I’ve been eating all natural, unprocessed food and working out burning 1000 calories at the gym. I’m starting to feel really discourage. Can someone give me some suggestions? Thanks

You need to eat more calories, to speed up your metabolism, w/ what you are doing for exercise and the amount you are eating, your body is producing starvation hormones and is holding onto everything you put in it, and storing it as fat to use as energy, you need to consume more to fuel your metabolism….AT LEAST 1600/cal a day would help!!

If you are exercising and burning 1,000 calories in a day (which is a lot of exercising), you may actually be getting too few calories and slowing down your metabolism. Try increasing your calories by 100 to 200 a day to see if that helps.

try changing up your exercises. sometimes you’ll stop losing weight because your body gets used to the daily routines we put it through.
and dont get discouraged. just remember that you can do anything you set your mind to

you lost water weight and now your body is use to it.. what you have to do is switch it up so your body can go into shock mode.. and start losing weight again

Decrease your output and increase your input so that you have a 500 calorie deficit vs maintenance I suggest using http://www.thedailyplanet.com to keep track
